As a leader in material handling automation, Daifuku BCS is experiencing significant growth. We are seeking a Mechanical Systems Technician to join our skilled professionals in ensuring the maintenance and preventative care of baggage handling systems and equipment.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the operational efficiency and maintenance of the Baggage Handling System.
- Quickly identifying and resolving faults and baggage jams in a safe and professional manner.
- Ensuring maintenance tasks are performed on schedule and accurately documenting all maintenance and fault rectification work.
- Maintaining accurate records, documentation, and checklists in compliance with required standards.
- Prioritizing safety for yourself and others while adhering to all policies and procedures.
- Interacting courteously and professionally with airport staff, travelers, and other stakeholders on a daily basis.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who are committed to their professional growth and success. Your qualifications and experience should include:
- Essential qualification as a Mechanical Fitter.
- Comprehensive understanding of Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges.
- Proven experience in performing various electrical tasks, including repairs and maintenance.
- Previous involvement in scheduled preventative maintenance activities.
- Desirable knowledge and skills in Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- A strong commitment to safety practices.
- Valid driver's license.
