About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at a contemporary, boutique adult and pediatric ear, nose, throat, head, and neck surgery practice. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and interact with patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Respond to patient queries in a timely and concise manner
  • Communicate with referring doctors and hospitals regarding patient matters
  • Process payments and billing through Medicare and Eclipse
  • Book appointments based on triage and urgency
  • Perform sterilization of equipment (training provided onsite)
  • Generate consultation letters
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in all interactions
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist
  • Experience in the medical industry (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong computer skills and experience with cloud-based software (Clinic to Cloud desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
