Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients with advanced heart failure.
About the RoleThis role involves assessing patients and prescribing exercise to maintain function and improve quality of life. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients with advanced heart failure and develop individualized exercise programs
- Prescribe exercise both individually and in a group environment to achieve optimal outcomes
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor or postgraduate degree in an exercise science related field with eligibility for accreditation as an exercise physiologist with ESSA
- Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems
