Package Innovation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Package Innovation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our packaging development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative packaging solutions that meet our sustainability goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging technology and a passion for innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new packaging concepts, optimize existing ranges, and drive our sustainability agenda across the ANZ market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative packaging solutions that balance functionality, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source innovative materials and cost-saving packaging solutions.
  • Ensure packaging compliance with all regulatory and market-specific requirements.
  • Validate packaging designs, conduct trials, and oversee specification control.
  • Liaise with third-party manufacturers to deliver packaging projects on time and to specification.

About You:

  • Degree qualified, ideally with a packaging or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years' hands-on packaging experience within FMCG or a similar environment.
  • Technical knowledge of corrugated cardboard, rigid/flexible plastics, and barrier properties.
  • Experience working with third-party manufacturing companies.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Passion for sustainable packaging and continuous improvement.
