The Opportunity

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based out of a client site in the Bowen Basin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximise Komatsu equipment's availability, reliability, and productivity
  • Provide technical support, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for Komatsu fleet
  • Report on regular machine issues
  • Create detailed technical documentation and provide recommendations/resolutions for equipment performance issues
Role Details

Role Located: Bowen Basin (mine-site)

Shift: 7 days on and 7 days off, Thursday to Wednesday, day shift only.

Remuneration: Approximate salary of $150,000 - $165,000 per year, plus fleet vehicle and paid accommodation.

Your Skills and Abilities
  • Cert III or Equivalent in Electrotechnology (Electrician) & QLD Electrical License
  • Experience working as a Field Service Technician is preferred with exposure to breakdown, repairs, and diagnostics.
  • Previous experience working in a mine-site is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical drawings.
  • An understanding of maintenance targets including availability, reliability, parts management, and component life cycle management.
  • Ability to analyse/troubleshoot complicated hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical technical problems and provide solutions.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
