The Role

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, works well under pressure, and wants to be part of a supportive and growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing invoices and payments in multiple currencies
  • MATCHING INVOICES TO PURCHASE ORDERS AND ENSURING CORRECT AUTHORISATIONS
  • UPLOADING PAYMENTS AND ISSUING REMITTANCE ADVICES
  • RECONCILING CREDIT CARD RECEIPTS
  • ASSISTING WITH GENERAL AD HOC FINANCE TASKS AS REQUIRED
  • SUPPORTING THE ACCOUNTS OFFICERS AND WIDER FINANCE TEAM WITH ADMINISTRATIVE AND REPORTING TASKS

About You

You are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in a busy environment. You take pride in accuracy and efficiency, and you're able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. You'll also bring:

  • Previous experience in accounts or finance support roles (Accounts Payable experience highly regarded)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Understanding of accounting processes and reconciliations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help across different areas
  • Experience with Business Central or other ERP systems (advantageous but not essential)
