We are seeking a highly skilled Citrix Administrator to join our team at Axiom Technologies. As a key member of our IT services team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities, providing onsite/on-call assistance, and ensuring optimal service delivery in our desktop computing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with customers to architect end-to-end solutions and have hands-on experience setting up, maintaining, and expanding large-scale heterogeneous environments.
- Utilize excellent time management, communication, prioritization, and negotiation skills to drive project success.
- Develop and implement account planning strategies with experience in up-sell and cross-sell initiatives.
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate the value proposition to stakeholders.
- Provide technical support, configuration, and administration of Citrix environment.
- Develop processes, procedures, and technical documentation for management of Citrix.
- Monitor and report on system and application health.
- Collaborate with application owners to install and tune their applications.
- Provide technical support, configuration, and administration of Windows Server as required.
- Contribute to architectural design to improve reliability, performance, and efficiencies.
- Respond to complex technical issues and provide solutions.
- Support a 24 x 7 operation, when required.
- Establish strong working relationships with key staff members.
- Minimum 7+ years' experience as a Wintel Engineer/Architect with a strong track record of progressively increasing responsibilities.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and multi-task with minimal supervision.
- Current certifications with Cisco, Citrix & Microsoft required.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and OSI model.
- 6+ years' experience in architecting, designing, migrating, troubleshooting, and implementing Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and XenServer technologies.
- 2+ years' experience in performing configuration, testing, and implementation of Citrix NetScaler HA and LB.
- 10+ years of Network, Storage, and Infrastructure experience.
- A strong understanding of leading manufacturers' routing and switching architecture; and experience with storage and virtualization products from leading manufacturers.
- Must demonstrate a strong understanding of Converged Infrastructure concepts.
- Microsoft SCCM.
- Powershell.
- VMWare 2+ years.
- Hyper-V 2+ years.
- Ability to optimize infrastructure and troubleshoot at all 7 layers of the OSI model.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of Citrix technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
