Key Responsibilities- Provide onsite/on-call assistance to end-users within the organization's desktop computing environment.
- Engage in workshops with customers to architect end-to-end solutions and set up, maintain, and expand large-scale heterogeneous environments.
- Develop processes, procedures, and technical documentation for the management of Citrix.
- Monitor and report on system and application health.
- Consult with application owners to install and tune their applications.
- Provide technical support, configuration, and administration of Windows Server as required.
- Assist with architectural design to improve reliability, performance, and efficiencies.
- Respond to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing problems.
- Minimum 7+ years' experience as a Wintel Engineer/Architect with an outstanding track record of progressively increasing responsibilities.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and multi-task with minimal supervision.
- Current certifications with Cisco, Citrix & Microsoft required.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and OSI model.
- 6+ years' experience in architecting, designing, migrating, troubleshooting, and implementing Citrix Xen App, Xen Desktop and Xen Server technologies.
- 2+ years' experience in performing configuration, testing, and implementation of Citrix Net Scaler HA and LB.
- 10+ years of Network, Storage, and Infrastructure (Data Center, etc.) experience.
- A strong understanding of leading manufacturers' routing and switching architecture; and experience with storage and virtualization products from leading manufacturers.
- Must demonstrate a strong understanding of Converged Infrastructure concepts.
