Public Discourse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced journalist to join our team in Wagga Wagga.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Break exclusive stories on multiple platforms, including audio, video, and online.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to research, pitch, and develop compelling stories with distinctive angles.
  • Get out and about in local Riverina communities to create lasting relationships and tell stories important to them.
Requirements:
  • A creative approach to storytelling across multiple platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of news media, and a desire to consume news content across a variety of publications and broadcasters.
  • Enthusiasm to travel to remote locations to tell the stories of people living in those areas.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
