The role of Associate Principal will be responsible for driving sector growth, managing teams and winning projects.
The Associate Principal will lead the delivery of major projects within budget and to agreed program, exceeding client expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Project Delivery
- Develop project briefs, fee budgets and project programs.
- Client, project and design management.
- Deliverables monitoring and planning, documentation to completion and site phase works.
- Lead regular project reviews and end of project evaluations.
- Contract administration, fee & variation negotiation and management and periodic cost to complete review.
- Resource management and participation in the resource group with the view to ensuring the best outcomes for the overall business.
- Manage people and project issues escalating and seeking advice when necessary.
- Coach and mentor team members on an ongoing basis to support them in achieving their goals.
- Lead and manage project teams and support the ongoing development of individuals to deliver successful performance outcomes.
- Contribute to delivery of the overall business development strategy, including the achievement of Australian Senior Leadership and Global Sector Leadership Net Fee Booked Goals (NFB).
- Establish new client connections, extend current network of decision-makers; and utilise to secure new business opportunities.
- Manage client relationships effectively to ensure they are strong and enduring partnerships.
- Support in the technical preparation of project bids and fees to support our pursuits team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- 10 years related experience.
- A minimum 5 years project management experience.
- Registered Architect.
- Must be able to lead a team on projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
- Knowledge and experience within the local and regional market.
- Good planning and mentoring skills.
