Laundry Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Maintain an adequate supply inventory for cleaning supplies, paper products, linen, and laundry chemicals.
  • Place orders for cleaning supplies, paper products, linen, laundry chemicals, and contract cleaning services for hospital facilities.
  • Keep accurate records of all vendor communication, purchases, and manifests.
  • Provide hospital laundry productivity reports and linen inventories using proprietary software.
  • Maintain staff time and attendance records and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to organization-wide policies and procedures.
  • Perform within prescribed limits of the Ethics, Compliance, and Confidentiality Program guidelines.
  • Work within professional scope of practice at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic computer workstation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

We prefer candidates with at least two years of college experience, two years of basic computer workstation experience, and four years of experience as an office secretary/administrative assistant.
