We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our Energy and Markets Business Units. As a key member of our Legal and Governance team, you will provide expert legal advice and support on a range of complex energy projects, including renewable energy, energy storage, and wholesale market trading activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely and informed legal advice on energy transition projects, including renewable energy, energy storage, and wholesale market trading activities.
- Manage and support the day-to-day legal requirements for our Energy and Markets Business Units.
- Develop and implement innovative legal solutions to support the company's clean energy transition goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with energy projects.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Law degree and current practicing certificate.
- Significant post-qualification legal experience with a reputable Australian law firm or large corporate.
- Previous experience providing advice on energy law, construction law, and corporate mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and lead complex matters.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
