This is a temporary Accounts Payable position that requires process improvement skills and experience with financial services.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in small environments, have strong process improvement experience, and be able to document work instructions. They should also be able to implement systems and deal with non-finance stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processes.
- Process approximately 50 vendor invoices per week via NetSuite across four AP inboxes.
- Verify banking details for new vendors.
- Set up weekly payment runs in NAB, including batch and singular vendor payments.
- Perform credit card reconciliations, including receipt matching and coding.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
- Develop comprehensive work instructions for all AP processes.
- Clean up NetSuite vendor master data, identify and merge duplicate vendor records.
- Correct spelling errors.
- Add missing bank details and remittance email addresses.
- Support implementation of a new AP approval workflow system and provide user training.
- Train users on credit card systems such as SAP Concur or similar platforms.
- Participate in project work and transition activities as required.
