About the Role

The Reject Shop is a leading discount variety retailer with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and employee engagement. We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partnering Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach the P&C Business Partnering team to ensure exceptional outcomes across all business units.
  • Collaborate with leaders to optimize the service function of the people & culture team and improve the overall employee experience.
  • Develop and implement business initiatives to drive engagement levels and improve employee relations.
  • Coach leaders to develop interpersonal and leadership skills aligned with The Reject Shop's core values.
  • Lead the Business Partnering team in handling Employee Relations issues and implementing workplace relations strategies.
  • Monitor and advise on relevant changes to employment legislation.
  • Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships across the organization.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR/ER or a related discipline.
  • Experience in coaching and developing Business Partners across all facets of P&C.
  • Experience in leading a team and driving consistency and high performance in resolving complex ER issues.
  • Ability to translate complex technical or legal information into clear recommendations/advice.
  • Experience in a similar role in a retail environment.
  • Refined interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Commercial approach to decision making.
