Job Overview:

We're looking for a skilled Test Analyst to join our dynamic Agile scrum team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring quality assurance and excellence in our large program of work.

Your primary focus will be on collaborating with business representatives and cross-functional teams to understand system behaviors and workflows. You'll also build test cases using formal test design techniques, perform tests, and report evidence into Azure DevOps.

To succeed in this role, you should have 3+ years' experience in system and integration testing of large-scale systems using manual or automated methods. Additionally, you should have experience working in an Agile software development environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team and using Azure DevOps toolset.

You'll need strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including prioritizing competing tasks with minimal direction. Excellent communication skills across technical and business audiences are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business representatives and cross-functional teams to understand system behaviors and workflows.
  • Build test cases using formal test design techniques, perform tests, and report evidence into Azure DevOps.
  • Test functionality under development within sprint timeframes.
  • Participate in cross-team testing activities and regular release testing.
  • Identify test data requirements and build out test data to support testing activities.
  • Perform exploratory testing to find problems threatening software value.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years' experience in system and integration testing of large-scale systems using manual or automated methods.
  • 3+ years' experience working in an Agile software development environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team and using Azure DevOps toolset.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related disciplines.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including prioritizing competing tasks with minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and business audiences.
  • High level of proficiency with Azure DevOps and Miro.
  • Desirable: Experience with Playwright.
