Job Title: Venue Operations Director
About the Role- We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead the operational management of Sydney Olympic Park precinct.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing public spaces and parklands, including major events coordination, safety and security, traffic management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and media.
- Lead the strategic management of the precinct, ensuring seamless coordination of high-profile events.
- Provide operational advice to support infrastructure delivery.
- Represent the Authority across interagency forums, influencing major event and infrastructure outcomes.
- Deep expertise in precinct operations, major event coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
- Leadership experience in urban parks, leisure venues, or event precincts.
- Qualifications and experience in risk, security, and crisis management.
We oversee daily management of public spaces, sporting venues, parklands, and facilities while delivering events, enhancing visitor experiences, and protecting the Park's natural and cultural heritage.
We foster high-performing teams and resilient partnerships through collaborative leadership and results-driven approaches.
