Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead a team of Early Years Specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality early intervention services.
    • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Service Development and Delivery
    • Design and implement evidence-based early intervention programs, including parent education workshops, playgroups, and capacity-building initiatives.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and effective outcomes for children and families.
  • Casework and Support
    • Manage a small caseload of children and families, providing early intervention supports and connecting them with relevant resources and services.
    • Support families to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and navigate the early childhood system.

Requirements

  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Degree-qualified in Allied Health, Education, or Social Sciences.
    • Extensive experience in delivering early intervention programs to children and families.
    • Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of success in a similar role.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Strong understanding of the Early Childhood Approach and early childhood best practice principles.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, including families, community organizations, and government agencies.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships and promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
