About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Aerodrome Ground Handler to join our team at Mineral Resources. As an Aerodrome Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aerodrome.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-flight and Post-flight Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft to ensure safety and compliance with operational standards.
- Aircraft Marshalling: Safely marshal aircraft to and from the bay, maintaining clearance from facilities, ground equipment, and other aircraft.
- Ground Servicing Equipment: Connect and disconnect ground servicing equipment as required.
- Ramp Operations: Assist with ramp operations, including handling larger jets and relevant training.
- Load Control: Assist with load control operations, including loading and unloading cargo.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Decision Making and Problem Solving: Make sound decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
