As an Infrastructure Project Manager with John Holland, you will be part of a team that works collaboratively to achieve common goals.
This is an Expression of Interest for experienced project managers with expertise in civil engineering, specifically:
- Civil infrastructure projects (e.g. roads, car parks, retaining walls)
- Stations
- Structures
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading on-site engineering functions directly and through subordinates
- Monitoring quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material
- Coordinating the activities of the team and programme workloads
- Ensuring construction-related aspects of the project meet performance targets
- Assigning work and reviewing accuracy and adherence to required standards
- Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and planning authorities
- Preparing project status reports and change orders
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Degree qualified Civil Engineer with at least 5 years post-graduate experience
- Demonstrated skills in programming, cost control, quality assurance, safety and supervision/people management
- Proven experience in working on Tier 1 Civil Infrastructure Projects
- Confident communicator with ability to collaborate with different stakeholders
- Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards and implications for project accountabilities
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
