The role of Senior Engineering Manager - Rail Systems is pivotal in overseeing signalling design, program management, and financials for various engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure project inputs are effectively managed, including the Quality Plan, Project Document Management Plan (PDMP), and Design Management documentation.
- Facilitate high-level inter-disciplinary engineering coordination to achieve optimal project outcomes.
- Monitor and control overall design costs, collaborating with teams on design change management.
- Coordinate reviews, verifications, and validations with input from the project team.
- Conduct Design Reviews, Safety In Design Reviews, and Risk Reviews to meet project requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 15 years cumulative engineering experience, with at least 10 years in Rail Projects.
- QR Competencies and RPEQ Status.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, enabling effective working relationships.
- Australian Driver's License.
