About the Opportunity

Embark on a journey to lead and develop a high-performing team of Risk professionals. This is your chance to leverage your expertise in delivery risk to support a Delivery Risk Chapter on its maturity journey towards best practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Lead the Delivery Risk Chapter:
    • Develop the maturity of the chapter towards best practice, improving our service offering and ways of working, in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Recruit, develop, and lead a skilled team of Risk Advisors and Consultants, fostering their growth and capabilities.
    • Drive capability building, coaching, mentoring, and performance management within the team.
    • Evaluate and improve delivery risk practices across teams, providing feedback and insights for enhanced methodologies.
    • Ensure adherence to established frameworks, standards, and best practices, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate and Influence:
    • Align strategies and approaches across Chapters and Tribes, sharing knowledge and resolving challenges.
    • Nurture relationships with key stakeholders, strengthening risk capabilities and practices throughout the organization.
    • Mange resourcing and capacity effectively, allocating the right talent to meet business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience and Expertise:
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a risk professional, with expert-level proficiency in risk management principles and practices.
    • Proven ability to identify, assess, and manage risks within complex delivery environments.
    • Strong understanding of risk frameworks within insurance or financial services sectors.
  • Leadership and Capability Building:
    • 3-5 years of leadership experience, including developing team capability and managing resource requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Exceptional ability to build, influence, and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners.
