The Opportunity

As a senior consultant in digital risk management, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advise executive stakeholders on mitigating digital risks. You will gain exposure to diverse clients across various sectors, including consumer goods, government services, and healthcare.

You will assist in planning, collaborating with team members to develop scope of works, lead fieldwork, manage staff performance, and use your understanding of complex information systems and industry trends to identify and communicate risks to the clients.

This role is based in Brisbane and offers flexible working arrangements, allowing for reduced hours and a better work-life balance.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Stay up-to-date with new, complex, and constantly evolving IT skillsets and topics across a wide variety of clients.
  • Assist in the coordination, planning, and delivery of various engagements that may include Cyber Security, Data Governance, Data Privacy, API Security, Business Continuity Management (BCM), third-party risk management, and more.
  • Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify risks and issues the client may face and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management.
Skills and Attributes for Success

To be considered for this role, you must have skills and experience including:

  • A minimum of 2 years' of relevant experience in internal or external audit and/or risk management from an IT, financial, and/or operations background.
  • Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems.

Ideally, you'll also have keen problem-solving skills and business acumen, including time management, spoken and written communication, and a commitment to continuous learning.
