Do you have a passion for improving the built and natural environment? We are seeking a Senior Strategic Planner to lead complex planning and design strategies, policies, and programs that enhance the Central Coast's performance. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and a proven track record of managing environmental strategies and writing policy controls.

About the Role

The Senior Strategic Planner will be responsible for providing technical advice and input into urban planning strategies and development plans. The role requires a strong understanding of environmental planning and policy development, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop complex planning and design strategies, policies, and programs
  • Provide technical advice and input into urban planning strategies and development plans
  • Manage environmental strategies and open space and land use planning studies
  • Write policy controls to guide environmentally responsible development

  • A competitive salary range of $99k - $119k plus 11.5% Superannuation
