
Defence Sector Business Development Specialist

Drive business growth through strategic partnerships and customer-centric solutions as a Business Development Manager.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the Defence sector. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with prime contractors, government agencies, and military organisations. Your expertise in sales and business development will enable you to effectively lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and tenders for Defence contracts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing business development strategies tailored to Defence sector requirements
- Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to align product and service offerings with customer needs
- Negotiating contracts and agreements to secure profitable and strategic partnerships
- Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical role with customer-facing experience, ideally in Engineering. A current Defence Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain NV1 is also required. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for success in this role.
