Job Opportunity for Corrosion Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Corrosion Protection Specialist to join our team in Adelaide, SA. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of our network through various technical assessments and maintenance activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, trend determination, and interpretation of findings. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be comfortable operating in a collaborative or autonomous environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct technical assessments of cathodic protection systems to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations
  • Provide technical input for the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of cathodic protection systems
  • Supervise the application of pipe coatings and ensure adherence to industry standards
  • Communicate corrosion concepts and processes effectively to various audiences
Requirements:
  • Australian Corrosion Association (ACA) Corrosion Technologist accreditation or A-Class Electrical trade qualification
  • Proven experience in analysing data and determining trends
  • Well-developed computer skills, with expertise in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Ability to interpret technical reports and recommend adjustments to cathodic protection systems
