Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of e-commerce logistics and order fulfillment processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Manage third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and fulfillment partners, focusing on operational efficiency, cost optimization, and proactive performance monitoring.
  • Develop data-driven insights and analytical tools to inform real-time business decisions and drive performance management.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in e-commerce fulfillment operations, providing in-depth knowledge and expertise.
  • Identify and implement key areas for improvement or optimization, resulting in measurable cost savings or supporting growth initiatives.
  • Develop and manage departmental KPIs, performance metrics, and operational budgets, analyzing drivers of favorable and negative variances.
  • Ensure successful project execution, including defining goals, scope, and timelines, developing business cases, and measuring predicted results.
  • Monitor and advocate for process formalization and documentation, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Service, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Engineering, on ongoing and new initiatives.
  • Clearly communicate operational status, updates, and expectations to internal teams and stakeholders as needed.

Candidate Profile and Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations/logistics/supply chain management, including managing 3PLs, preferably in e-commerce.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science; MBA/MA/MS preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical background, with experience in SQL and other programming tools.
  • Motivated self-starter with experience working in fast-paced start-ups, requiring flexibility, adaptability, and nimbleness.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills and talent for process improvement.
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal) and active listener, with an open-minded approach to collaboration.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, able to cultivate partnerships across external and internal stakeholders.
  • Passionate about customer satisfaction and committed to achieving it.
  • Expertise in using Excel and building data models, as well as Word and PowerPoint.
