We are seeking a Cyber Security Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day security operations and drive incident response maturity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a suite of enterprise-grade security tools, including EDR, CASB, firewalls, email security, and PAM.
  • Develop and implement incident response, triage, and escalation workflows for timely and effective response to security incidents.
  • Ongoingly optimise and maintain existing security infrastructure to ensure it remains up-to-date and effective.
  • Cordinate internal cyber exercises and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Interface with outsourced SOC and internal architecture teams for seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure all operations align with relevant frameworks, including ACSC Essential 8, ISO27001, NIST, and sector-specific guidelines.
  • Support executive reporting and cyber governance activities for strategic decision-making.
Required Skills:
  • Senior-level experience in technical cyber operations, with strong focus on hands-on capability across EDR, vulnerability management, cloud security, and firewalls.
  • Proven people leadership skills, with experience as a team lead or manager.
  • Incident response and triage experience, with excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Cisco security stack and SDA networks.
  • Exposure to public sector or regulated environments.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Certifications: SSCP, CCSP, GSEC, or similar.
  • Experience with vendor management and SLAs.
  • Prior work in healthcare or critical infrastructure.
