About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sustainable Future Leader to join our team at InfraBuild. This exciting opportunity will see you play a key role in deploying initiatives to continually review and improve our workplaces for employees, contractors, and customers.

Reporting to the National Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of safety processes and practices across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment of safety initiatives and programs to drive continuous improvement
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand how safety and wellbeing can be improved
  • Identify change and support the business with change management activities
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance leader and contractor skills
  • Facilitate incident investigations and hazard identification to prevent harm to individuals

As a Sustainable Future Leader, you will demonstrate experience working within and deploying Safety Management Systems. Strong communication skills across multileveled hierarchies are a must, with the ability to influence teams and individuals while maintaining an empathetic approach to challenges, ideas and solutions.

You will be tertiary qualified in Health and Safety; minimum undergraduate degree, have a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment, and be experienced in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.

The ideal candidate will be a strong influencer with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong focus on safety and quality. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
