About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our General Medical and Medical Assessment Unit (MAU) team at San Day Surgery Hornsby. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, compassionate, and quality person-centred care to patients with a range of conditions, including endocrine, renal, gastroenterology, urology, cardiac, and geriatric related conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Ability to contribute to a culture of clinical excellence and continuous quality improvement.
