We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our General Medical and Medical Assessment Unit (MAU) team at San Day Surgery Hornsby. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care to patients with a range of conditions, including endocrine, renal, gastroenterology, urology, cardiac, and geriatric related conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe, compassionate, and quality care to patients in accordance with our hospital's standards and policies.
- Work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence and continuous quality improvement.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
- Demonstrated empathy and emotional intelligence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work full-time (38 hours per week) across a rotating roster.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and situations.
