Job Description

The key objective of the Injury Management Services Coordination role is to provide and coordinate best practice injury management services in an operational environment.

This critical member of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team is responsible for case management of injured or ill employees, coordinating rehabilitation programs and supporting workers, managers and executive leaders to understand their obligations under relevant legislation.

Effective coordination of rehabilitation programs and provision of support to workers, managers and executive leaders to understand their obligations under relevant legislation are also essential components of this role. Additionally, working across multiple locations including Correctional Centres or Corporate Office is a requirement of the position according to vacancy opportunities applicable at point in time.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To develop and implement effective injury management strategies and programs.
  2. To provide expert advice on injury management practices to workers, managers and executive leaders.
  3. Coordinate rehabilitation programs and provide support to workers, managers and executive leaders to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a challenging operational environment. A high level of organisational and time management skills are also essential for the successful delivery of this role.
