
**Theatre/Perioperative Leadership Role**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Rapid Access Hub as part of the Theatre/Perioperative Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in achieving specific Key Performance Indicators as developed for the Unit.
- Provides exceptional direct patient care and acts as a clinical role model.
- Supervises, directs and supports nursing staff in clinical practice.
- Assumes a floor coordination role when required and has experience leading teams.
- Liaises with the Nurse Unit Manager and relevant health professionals to achieve agreed activity targets.
The Associate Nurse Unit Manager will have a key role in driving success within the Rapid Access Hub. The responsibilities include:
- Direct Patient Care: Provides high-quality direct patient care and acts as a clinical role model.
- Team Leadership: Supervises, directs and supports nursing staff in clinical practice, including those who may require additional training or support.
- Floor Coordination: Assumes a floor coordination role when required, utilizing their leadership skills to drive positive outcomes.
- Collaboration: Liaises with the Nurse Unit Manager and relevant health professionals to achieve agreed activity targets, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience in theatre/perioperative nursing, with a strong focus on leadership and team management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions that prioritize patient safety and well-being.
- Proven track record of driving improvement and achieving results-oriented outcomes.
