Job Summary

The Clinical Teacher will assist staff in maintaining contemporary knowledge and skill that enables them to maintain high standards of care and enhance patient outcomes. This role supports the organisation to deliver quality services through education and professional development of staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to provide optimal care.
  • Contribute to the development of educational programs that enhance staff capabilities and improve patient outcomes.
Key Requirements
  • Effective communication and organisational skills.
  • Registration with the AHPRA as a Registered Nurse is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in clinical settings is advantageous.
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support would be beneficial.
  • An understanding of rural health issues relating to nursing is essential.
  • A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or working towards or a commitment to obtaining within 12 months) is required.
