Visual Effects Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Compositing Supervisor to join our team at DNEG. As a key member of our compositing department, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering all compositing aspects of a show.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the DFX and VFX Supervisor to ensure the highest quality of work on time, on budget, and in a sustainable way.
- Manage and supervise a team of 2D artists, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Develop and implement production methodologies, creative approaches, and problem-solving techniques to drive efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with other department supervisors to deliver the creative vision of the VFX Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures, and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements
- VFX industry experience as a 2D Supervisor or equivalent.
- Experience working directly with VFX and DFX Supervisors, with a strong understanding of the compositing pipeline.
- Proven track record of managing and supervising a team of 2D artists, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Advanced experience in Nuke and a good general knowledge of VFX pipeline and 3D Softwares.
