Job Summary:

Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Project Manager to lead our projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with excellent leadership and organizational skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely completion, maximum profitability, and exceptional quality control. They will also be required to manage and organize projects, control site costs, labor, and materials, and attend construction sites and liaise with builders, site foremen, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize projects to ensure on-time completion and maximum profitability.
  • Control site costs, labor, and materials to achieve project goals.
  • Attend construction sites and liaise with builders, site foremen, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Represent the company's interests at project site meetings.
  • Ensure progressive testing of fire systems is conducted to specifications.
  • Supervise final inspection, commissioning, and certification of jobs.
  • Monitor and implement OH&S policy and procedures on-site and off.

Requirements:

  • Current NSW driver's license.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in construction and/or engineering.
  • University degree in any engineering discipline.
