Job Title: Clinical Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Professional to join our team in an Acute Geriatric Evaluation and Management unit.

The ideal candidate will have strong patient care skills, be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Supporting Patient Care and Monitoring: Our Clinical Support Professional will work closely with registered nurses to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our patients.
  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's): The successful candidate will assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting independence and self-care.
  • Assisting with Cognitive and Behavioural Monitoring: Our Clinical Support Professional will help monitor patients' cognitive and behavioral health, providing support and interventions as needed.
  • Assisting in Clinical Procedures and Patient Care: The role requires the ability to assist in clinical procedures, including wound care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Coordination and Communication: Strong coordination and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, healthcare providers, and family members.
  • Providing Education and Health Promotion: Our Clinical Support Professional will participate in education and health promotion activities, empowering patients and their families to make informed decisions about their care.
