Job Title: Senior Load Control Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Load Control Manager to lead our Load Control team and drive operational excellence in flight dispatch operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing load control systems, standards, and procedures, as well as overseeing training programs and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain JOCC Load Control systems, standards, and procedures in collaboration with Flight Operations and Weight & Balance teams.
  • Manage and update the Amadeus Flight Management Load Control planning software.
  • Oversee JOCC and external provider Load Control training programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and proficiency requirements.
  • Represent Load Control in safety investigations, risk assessments, and audits, and ensure timely follow-up on findings.
  • Act as delegate for senior dispatch management roles and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and manage performance of external load control providers through regular reviews and audits.
  • Ensure business continuity through effective roster planning, leave management, and resource coordination.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Dispatch Operations or Load Control role.
  • Qualification as a Flight Dispatch Operations Officer / Manager and/or Load Controller.
  • A Private or Commercial Pilot Licence (PPL/CPL) - highly regarded.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in an aviation-related discipline - advantageous.
  • Ability to lead/manage/supervise a team including coaching, mentoring, and development.
  • Familiarity with Amadeus Flight Management (FM) software.
  • Strong technical competency in dispatch operations.
  • Ability to commit to infrequent domestic & international travel as per operational requirements.

  • A continuous improvement mindset with innovative thinking and a drive for best practice.
