Yard Maintenance Specialist

">Job Description:

We have a casual, part-time or full-time opportunity available for those with some level of experience in gardening and grounds keeping to join our expanding team.

">

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of gardens and grounds at our sites, as well as basic building and plant maintenance as required.

">Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the gardens, lawns and hedges at eight locations
  • Operate in a safe manner prioritizing your safety and the safety of others
  • Maintain and tidy all areas around buildings and traffic areas
  • Assist with general and basic handyman maintenance duties of buildings and structures
  • Operate and maintain push mowers, brush cutters, blowers, spray units and other outdoor power equipment
  • Control weed growth manually or chemically as demand requires
  • Assist with other general plant duties if required
">Requirements:
  • Some level of garden, lawn, horticulture, agriculture or landscaping experience or eagerness to learn and develop on your experience levels in the above-mentioned
  • A high commitment to quality and excellence
  • The ability to self-manage and plan work duties to ensure objectives are met
  • Operator experience with a range of outdoor power equipment
  • A sound mechanical aptitude with the ability to service and maintain outdoor power equipment (Not essential - We can and will train you)
  • Sound general handyperson skills
  • A Manual Drivers Licence is preferred
">Package:

An award based salary package, with an hourly rate negotiated based on qualifications, experience and skills.

Hourly rate: $25.00-$29 per hour

Company vehicle provided for travel between sites, with weekly maintenance requirements
