Occupational Therapist Role

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for delivering a trauma-informed, relational approach to support youth aged 12-25. This includes facilitating well-being and improved quality of life through the employment of a wholistic approach to youth well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement a holistic approach informed by the social determinants of health and equity principles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, youth, and caregivers to provide direct service, develop treatment goals, and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments of functioning and life skills, interpreting results to inform treatment plans.
  • Integrate service delivery with care providers, connecting youth/caregivers to services and facilitating coordinated care.
