Health Clinician, Youth and Mental Health Specialist
Job Description:This role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist mental health interventions to young people and families. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge, skills and experience in providing individual and family therapy, as well as systemic intervention principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, formulate, and provide evidence-based interventions for serious mental health problems in young people.
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of systemic intervention principles in collaboration with stakeholders for ongoing care.
- Provide clinical consultancy, effective communication, partnership development and negotiation with a wide range of stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of strengths-based, trauma-informed practices, recovery-focused care, and consumer and carer participation and consultation.
They will also have excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
A commitment to ongoing training and professional development is essential.
