Job Description:

Nauru Airlines seeks a Technical Services Manager to lead the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) team. The ideal candidate will have experience in airworthiness management, leadership capability, and a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks.

The CAMO team is responsible for ensuring the continued airworthiness of our aircraft fleet. This includes managing end-to-end Technical Services, Maintenance Programs, and Reliability Programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading analysis of reliability data, trend monitoring, and root cause investigations for technical issues. They will also direct and mentor engineering staff involved in reliability analysis and investigations.

In addition, they will coordinate cross-functional responses to reliability concerns, ensure full compliance with Safety and Security Management Systems (SMS), and provide strategic advice to improve operational efficiency and safety outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Technical Services team for review of Airframe, Avionics and Equipment Directives
  • Lead analysis of reliability data, trend monitoring, and root cause investigations for technical issues
  • Direct and mentor engineering staff involved in reliability analysis and investigations
  • Coordinate cross-functional responses to reliability concerns
  • Ensure full compliance with Safety and Security Management Systems (SMS)
  • Provide strategic advice to improve operational efficiency and safety outcomes

Requirements:

  • CASA Responsible Manager Certificate
  • At least 5 years' experience in airworthiness management or a related aviation engineering role
  • Experience with B737 Classic or NG aircraft types
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including influencing stakeholders and coordinating corrective actions
  • Qualifications in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Avionics Engineering
