We are looking for a skilled and experienced transport professional to lead our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods from dock to doorstep.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead by example and maintain a safe and compliant transport team.
- Plan and coordinate daily deliveries to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee vehicle loading accuracy, load restraint and compliance with Chain of Responsibility regulations.
- Liaise with contractors and report operational issues to the Transport Manager.
- Support scheduling, workforce planning and delivery operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure vehicles, docks and yard areas are kept clean and compliant with safety standards.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance and productivity.
- At least 3 years' experience in transport or logistics.
- 1–2 years in a leadership or team leader role.
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and WHS requirements.
- Safety-first mindset with strong manual handling skills.
- Customer-focused, solutions-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
