Senior Anaesthesia Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified anaesthetist to join our dynamic team at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive specialist anaesthetic services that support optimal outcomes for surgical and procedural patients across the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
- Support and supervise clinicians across multiple disciplines to promote high-quality education and safe clinical practice.
- Hold registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Anaesthetics, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
- Demonstrate effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Have significant experience relevant to anaesthesia practice and evidence of competence in skills relevant to Australian rural hospital practice, including trauma and emergency scenarios.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Be committed to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
- Be available to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
- Demonstrate commitment to behaviours which align to the NSW Health CORE values and MLHD Values, goals and strategies.
