Project Manager and Strategic Programme Lead

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager and Strategic Programme Lead to join our team at the Department of Defence. As a key member of our programme management office, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in project management, with a strong background in strategic planning, risk management, and programme delivery. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and coordinating with stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes
- Manage risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success
- Coordinate with stakeholders to achieve project outcomes
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Demonstrated experience in project management, with a strong background in strategic planning and programme delivery
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes access to training and development opportunities, flexible work arrangements, and a supportive work environment.
