About the Role
The Strategic Operations Coordinator is a key position within APS, supporting the Surveillance and Response Systems Program Office (SRSPO) in delivering complex surveillance and response airborne systems for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).
Job Summary
This role reports to the Business Operations Manager and works closely with the Executive Leadership group. The successful candidate will lead a small team providing business and personnel support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive governance and administrative support to enhance business operations, ensuring effective task coordination and process improvement.
- Lead personnel inquiries, including onboarding and performance tracking, in line with HR policies.
- Develop and maintain SharePoint sites for efficient document management, team collaboration, and implementing workflows for operational efficiency.
- Coordinate tasks to meet deadlines and achieve deliverables, leveraging Microsoft Suite and SharePoint for productivity and collaboration.
- Maintain the organisational calendar, ensuring effective scheduling of meetings and events.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights for reporting and process improvement.
- Maintain documentation of processes to ensure continuity and compliance.
About Our Team
SRSPO ensures the availability and performance of highly complex surveillance and response airborne systems for the RAAF, including the P-8A Poseidon. We also acquire and support common Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (ALSE) used on air vehicles operated by the RAAF, Navy, and Army.

Compensation Package
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $91,702 - $104,753, plus up to 15.4% Superannuation.
