Lead Systems Professional

The Role:

This is a pivotal position where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our information systems. You will lead system improvements that drive real business and customer outcomes.

You will play a crucial role in connecting systems, data, and people to deliver smarter, more sustainable services to our community.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, optimize, and enhance core customer information systems.
  • Champion continuous improvement and enable teams to make confident, data-driven decisions.
  • Mentor a high-performing team and work closely with business and vendor partners to deliver innovative solutions and seamless system experiences.
About You

To contribute to this role, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities:

  • Relevant qualifications in IT, business, or management.
  • Proven leadership in tech environments with team management experience.
  • Strong understanding of system performance, availability, and information security.
  • Ability to design system solutions that enhance customer and user experience.
  • Confident communicator with strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strategic thinker with solid problem-solving and decision-making capability.
  • Experience managing vendors and contracts with a focus on service improvement.
  • Project or program management skills—agile delivery experience a bonus.
  • Comfortable working with executives, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence.
