About this role:

This is a chance to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred active support to help people live their best lives.

A day in the life of a Support Worker may include:

  • Supporting people with complex needs in all aspects of daily life.
  • Helping participants engage in community activities and events.
  • Working on behaviour support plans and mental health care plans.
  • Providing weekday and weekend supports, including morning, afternoon and evening shifts.

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Experience or education in Disability or Mental Health is highly regarded.
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals of people with disabilities.
  • Able to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop.
