This is a fixed-term part-time opportunity that presents a unique chance to contribute to cutting-edge research within the field of Artificial Intelligence. Our team is focused on developing expertise in this area, with a particular emphasis on its applications in skin cancer diagnosis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out research related to Artificial Intelligence in skin cancer diagnosis, as part of the RISE4SkinCancer initiative. This program aims to improve the diagnosis and management of skin cancer in the Loddon Mallee Region by developing and testing a model that enhances primary care capacity and improves access to care in a cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities- Completion of a Master's degree or PhD in AI or computer science, or other relevant discipline, with a strong record of academic achievement.
- Experience in research and evaluation, with the ability to work effectively under limited supervision or independently.
- A proven track record of contribution to publications, conference papers, and/or reports, demonstrating research potential.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
