Job Overview

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Produce BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing services using Revit MEP by collaborating with project engineers and suggesting efficient methods of working.
  • Switch between Revit MEP and AutoCAD to prepare design drawings for MEP services depending on project priorities.
  • Create plant room layouts, sections, details, and coordinated services drawings.
  • Determine priorities and deadlines for drawing/model production with Project Engineers/CAD Managers.
  • Contribute to the coordination of engineering services on projects.
  • Develop general arrangement drawings from engineers' sketches and other design team members' drawings and details.
  • Collaborate with team members to discuss and agree setting out and building services details.
  • Create design sketches for information in tender documents for small/routine work.
  • Produce work to specified CAD standards, suggesting revisions as appropriate.
  • Utilize templates for CAD/BIM work and library items to assist design work.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with teammates.
  • FOLLOW QA, document control, archiving & CDM guidelines on all work.
  • Work with project team members on specified aspects of the project.
  • Evaluate relevant standards and guides used in accordance with QA processes.

Requirements
