We are seeking a skilled Senior Structural Modeler to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our structural design team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality models and technical drawings for various projects across the Transport, Maritime, Water, Defence, and Energy sectors.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage large-scale project drafting tasks independently.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior drafters within the project team.
  • Prepare detailed structural models and design drawings.
  • Collaborate with engineers, consultants, clients, and internal teams to deliver accurate, high-quality models and documentation.
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of interdisciplinary coordination in structural design.
  • Achieve clarity in translating complex structural concepts into detailed drawings that builders can easily follow.
  • Support senior engineers with preliminary sketch designs and drafting input.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement of drafting systems and workflows.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience in similar role.
  • Strong skills in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods and Australian Standards.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
  • Able to work collaboratively across disciplines and manage multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with BIM workflows and model coordination is desirable.
